Frequently Asked Questions (Q&A)
What is Now Foods Grapefruit Essential Oil 30ml?
Now Foods Grapefruit Essential Oil 30ml is a 100% pure single-note grapefruit oil imported from the United States. The compact 30ml bottle is cold pressed from fresh fruit peel and carries the label botanical Citrus paradisi, with a sweet citrus aroma the label calls purifying, cheerful and uplifting.
What botanical, extraction and aroma details does the label give?
The label names Citrus paradisi and states that the oil is cold pressed from fresh fruit peel. It prints a sweet, citrus aroma with purifying, cheerful and uplifting attributes, and lists 100% pure grapefruit oil as the only ingredient. (Source: current product label and NOW Foods product page, checked 2026-11-07.)
Who is this bottle for, and who should ask a practitioner first?
It suits adults who want a sweet citrus aroma for diffused use or for a properly diluted topical blend. The label keeps the bottle out of reach of children and asks anyone who is pregnant or lactating to consult a practitioner before use.
How should the 30ml bottle be used according to the label?
For aromatherapy, add drops of the oil to a diffuser as the label directs. For all other uses, dilute carefully with a carrier oil such as jojoba or grapeseed first, then consult an essential oil book or another professional reference source for suggested dilution ratios.
What warnings and safety cautions does the label give?
The label says to keep the bottle out of reach of children, avoid contact with eyes, and consult a practitioner before use if pregnant or lactating. It also states that the oil is not for internal use and that natural essential oils are highly concentrated and should be used with care. This product is for topical or aromatic use. It is not a medicine and is not a substitute for professional medical advice.
How should this essential oil be stored?
Close the cap tightly straight after each use to limit oxidation, and keep the oil in its original 30ml bottle at room temperature. The label warns against heat sources such as cabinets over a stovetop, direct sunlight and humid bathroom storage.
What pairing or blend information does the label give?
The label prints a Summer Fun blend that adds 1 drop each of lavender oil, peppermint oil and grapefruit oil to a diffuser. That aromatic recipe is the only blend suggestion on the label; no separate pairings list is given.
