Frequently Asked Questions (Q&A)
What is Florihana Organic Inula Essential Oil?
It is a certified organic, 100% pure Inula graveolens essential oil steam-distilled from flowering plants wild-harvested in France. It is a HEBBD oil and a French original import.
What does it smell like and how is it typically used?
It has a warm, deep, characterful herbaceous aroma. Aromatherapy users often diffuse a little for atmosphere or dilute it in a carrier oil for massage blends.
Who is this oil for?
It suits adults who enjoy herbaceous aromatherapy for diffusion and diluted massage. Children, pregnant or breastfeeding people, older adults, and anyone with chronic conditions should seek professional advice before use.
How should I use it?
Use 1–2 drops at a time and do not exceed about 2% dilution. For diffusion, add 1–2 drops to a diffuser and never heat the oil. For skin, dilute in a carrier oil first, patch-test, and keep away from eyes and mucous membranes.
What safety notes should I know?
This is not a medicine and does not replace professional advice. Avoid use in children, pregnancy, breastfeeding, elderly people, or chronic illness without guidance. Never inject; never apply neat to mucous membranes, eyes, nose, or ears. Allergy-prone users should patch-test first.
How should I store it?
Keep the bottle tightly closed in a cool, dry place away from heat and sunlight. Store out of children’s reach.
What Florihana products pair well with it?
It pairs with Florihana organic carrier oils and a microparticle diffuser. Herbaceous companions in the range include Melissa, Yarrow, and Lemon Verbena.
