Frequently Asked Questions (Q&A)
What is Florihana Celery Seed Essential Oil?
Apium graveolens seed essential oil, steam-distilled. A French original import, supplied in a 5g bottle.
What does it smell like, and how is it typically used?
It has a warm, sweet-spicy aroma with an earthy note. Aromatherapy users typically diffuse a few drops for atmosphere or dilute it in a carrier oil for massage blends.
Who is this oil for?
It suits adults who enjoy this style of aromatherapy. Children, pregnant or breastfeeding people, older adults, and anyone with a chronic condition should seek professional advice before use.
How should I use it?
Use 1–2 drops at a time and do not exceed about 2% dilution. For diffusion, add 1–2 drops to a diffuser and never heat the oil. For skin, dilute in a carrier oil first, patch-test, and keep away from eyes and mucous membranes.
What safety notes should I know?
This is not a medicine and does not replace professional advice. Never inject it or apply it neat to mucous membranes, eyes, nose or ears. Keep it out of children’s reach, and patch-test first if you have an allergic tendency.
How should I store it?
Keep the bottle tightly closed in a cool, dry place away from heat and sunlight, out of children’s reach.
Which Florihana products pair well with it?
It blends well with Florihana Sweet Orange, Black Pepper and Cardamom. Use a Florihana carrier oil such as sweet almond oil to dilute it for massage.
